Style GX The GX Rack and Pinion is the basic unit for manual steering applications. Standard with 1 1/4" rack shaft, a full inch of gear tooth face contact and a usable stroke over 6 inches. A total of ten steering ratios are available by simply interchanging pinion gear assemblies. The standard tie rod hole is 5/8" - 18 for heim joints and bump steer spacers. Standard length is 18 1/4" on centers which fits Rayburn, Schwartz, Masterbilt, STD, Lefthander, Howe, Port City and most pavement applications. Special Order: 5/8" or 1/2" straight or ES370 taper tie rod holes. Lengths available include 17 1/4" (ASA), 19 1/4" (GRT) and 19 3/4" (Rocket). Please contact us for availability.
