There are gear reduction starters and then there are Quarter Master Ultra Duty Starters which begin with with the highest quality motors available and finish them with adapter mounts that accurately locate the pinion gear for a perfect mesh fit with the flywheel. That's the difference between Quartermaster and the rest and another reason why Quarter Master is your best choice for trouble free performance.

Ultra Duty Starters feature plenty of punch (1.4 Kw) for all performance applications. With full ball bearing construction and heavy duty solenoids, they are not affected by normal underhood operating temperature. Current draw is approximately 210 amps at rated load.
