Tiger
Rear Ends have combined years of experience and cutting-edge
technology to design the highest-quality strength-to-weight
ratio rear end possible.
The design engineers worked with major seal and bearing
manufacturers to develop a kit to reduce horsepower robbing
friction. All of these efforts are made to give the customers
the edge on the racetrack.
In spite of costing more then the Winters the Tiger has
become the most popular quick change that we sell due to its
reliability and low friction. The Tiger has more internal
support around the bearings to help hold set-up tolerance
and add to the overall ruggedness of the rear end. The
manufacture claims 60% less rotational drag. We have seen
customers with 11 hp. gains on a chassis dyno. Every rear
end comes standard with 6 rib bells, 4:86 ring and pinion,
aluminum spool, HD gear cover, heat treated shaft, pinion
nose roller bearing, posi-lock nut assembly and a durable
Viton yoke seal. The Tiger has the added safety feature of
flush cover nuts to prevent punctures of the fuel cell.
Options include and lightened EDM cut ring gear, tube seal,
Detroit Locker and a 4.12 ring and pinion.
