Polymatrix D has the highest cold friction of any material on the market. It provides immediate, predictable, controlled pedal response with fade free performance over a wide temperature range. D pads are long wearing and easy on rotors. A flat torque curve maintains consistent pedal feel and superior modulation characteristics, even when they are hot. When the heat is on, racers choose Polymatrix B. For all types of asphalt and severe duty dirt track racing, no other material provides a longer, smoother, friction curve, and higher hot friction coefficient than Polymatrix B. This material is superb with vented iron rotors. Its uniform heat characteristics will minimize hot spotting and thermal cracking, and extend the life of the pads and rotors. Once bedded, it provides wear characteristics and braking performance unmatched by any other medium to high temperature compound. B pads have good cold response and require very little warm up to provide powerful stopping power. As the pads warm up, a gradually rising friction curve provides spike free response, and smooth pedal modulation throughout the entire temperature range. Polymatrix C offers the best durability against wear for long duration, high temperature, hard braking events. Considered harder than the B compound, it possesses an extremely low wear rate. With proper bedding, it provides fade free performance, lap after lap, and stops right on the mark during a green flag pit stop. C flaunts a virtually linear friction curve, so pedal response and modulation characteristics remain constant throughout the entire temperature range. Polymatrix C is available for all popular oval track and road race calipers. ___________________________________ Cold Stopper - Tan This sticky friction pad material was developed to have a high coefficient of friction in the low temperature range for quick, high torque stopping without heating up your brake rotors. Pads maintain very low dust and noise levels. Ideal for pro series, drag racing and moderate dirt applications. ___________________________________ Gator Pads - Green This compound has been formulated to provide extremely high coefficient levels at low to mid temperatures making it a good choice for dirt and moderate asphalt racing. The material provides a high level of brake torque with minimal pedal effort and works well on both iron and steel rotors.
