GT 6000 Calipers

The sophisticated billet GT 6000 incorporates the most advanced caliper technology to handle the extremes of NASCAR Winston Cup, Busch GN and Craftsman Truck short track racing, as well as endurance and road racing events where cooling and pad wear are critical factors. The open bridge, fully heat shielded design greatly reduces conductive heating of the caliper and permits increased air flow. The massive 1.10” thick, 12.1 sq. in. pads are held in place by a quick change pad retainer clip, and dual bridge bolts enhance caliper stiffness. Heavy duty pad abutment plates and anti - knockback piston springs complete this caliper at only 7.8 pounds. 

Optional for the GT 6000 caliper are Wilwood’s exclusive two-piece short track pistons for prolonged seal life and fluid protection (see below). Recirculator tubes are also available.
