Available in gun drilled or solid applications, crowned, splined or straight cut for cambered or non-cambered rears. Stock Car Products introduced their race proven hy - torque drilled axles over 10 years ago. These are not tubular axles, but are precision machined on our computer controlled cnc lathes. A solid bar of aircraft quality hy - tuff steel is used, designed to withstand severe and high torque conditions. The center core is gun drilled the full length of the axle, honed to a fine micro finish to prevent stress cracking and heat treated to our specifications Then to further prevent stress cracking, the o.d. is polished for the entire length. This produces a strong, lightweight axle with an average reciprocating unsprung weight saving of approximately 8 lbs. per rear end. Technical Information About Forgings
